As a Design Manager at Canonical you will lead and contribute to the Visual Design practice supporting brand and site experiences in a hands-on leadership role. Your main responsibilities will include leading a team of visual designers driving innovation and ensuring quality and consistency across various projects which include marketing campaign assets and UI design. Your role will also involve the application of existing design guidelines and the evolution of design systems to maintain high standards. You will collaborate closely with different teams to influence the UI of digital experiences and encourage cross-department collaboration on innovative projects that extend beyond brand design. Day to day interactions with your team will include providing critical feedback reviewing work maintaining operational workflows and overseeing the professional growth of your designers. You are expected to set the creative vision and lead by example demonstrating expertise in visual design principles while actively participating in hands-on design work when needed.
