Canonical is seeking a GitOps Engineering Manager to take on a multifaceted challenge incorporating operations management software engineering product development and team leadership. In this pivotal role you will leverage your expertise in Linux and operations management while leading a high-performance team to enhance Canonical's operational capabilities. Your mission will focus on pioneering improved methodologies for large-scale infrastructure services while supporting the wider goals of Canonical and Ubuntu. This includes optimizing managed application service offerings and pushing the boundaries of automation through infrastructure as code enhancing both internal processes and external open source contributions. The position entails daily agile practices team representation to stakeholders project coordination mentorship of engineers and ensuring adherence to strategic priorities and service level agreements. Based remotely in the APAC and EMEA regions you will report to a global director fostering collaboration across diverse time zones.
