Job Description

As an Information Systems Architect at Canonical you will be pivotal in defining the best practices for infrastructure as code on a global scale. You will lead the Information Systems team responsible for IT operations including the design and implementation of both hardware and software systems. Your influence on system architecture will enhance the user experience for millions using Ubuntu and guide engineers in engaging with cloud and network resources within a DevOps environment. By leading System Reliability Engineers and Data Center Engineers you will ensure adherence to best practices and make crucial decisions regarding technology in cloud infrastructure. This role requires collaboration with various teams to improve operational efficiency and establish automated processes. You will analyze incidents to identify structural improvements aiming to enhance reliability and resilience. This is a remote role based in the EMEA region with occasional travel for company events allowing you to contribute to Canonical’s mission while enjoying a flexible work environment.
