Canonical seeks a skilled Revenue Accounting Manager to enhance our revenue recognition processes and reporting aligned with IFRS 15 and ASC 606. This role demands a leader passionate about systems accounting fostering collaboration across product management legal sales operations and commercial systems. The ideal candidate will drive automation and ensure clarity and correctness in revenue accounting practices. Responsibilities include developing scalable contract reviews guiding a revenue-focused team and ensuring transparency and speed in reporting to satisfy public market scrutiny. This position calls for a management approach that emphasizes confidence in presentations and goal-setting while mentoring the team towards industry-leading practices in accounting. Moreover familiarity with software engineering alongside accounting expertise will enrich the capacity to engage with technical teams effectively. The role is home-based in EMEA time zones with potential London office engagement.
