As a Workplace Engineer at Canonical you will be responsible for building internal systems that maintain the same high standards as our public products ensuring they are specified tested reviewed and observable. This role requires you to design and deliver systems and platforms that include intuitive user interfaces build Go services and APIs that connect various data sources design data models and architecture for connected systems and transform data into clear dashboards and visualizations. Additionally you will integrate LLM-powered features into everyday workflows write specifications estimate work and deliver to agreed criteria while setting high standards in code review testing and documentation. You will partner with non-technical colleagues to create the necessary tools mentor other engineers improve team performance and demonstrate analytical skills with a data-driven mindset focusing on optimizing processes and workflows across Canonical.
