Canonical is seeking open source enthusiasts to join its Ubuntu Engineering Server Team where your expertise will contribute to the future of Ubuntu. In this role you will collaborate within a distributed team and ensure a seamless software ecosystem for Ubuntu users. Your responsibilities include maintaining and packaging software such as web servers databases and virtualization stacks playing a crucial role in shaping Ubuntu's evolution. You will evaluate contributions from peers to uphold high software standards and work closely with teams across Ubuntu and Debian communities. This position allows you to own the maintenance of various packages and engage with cutting-edge server workloads and technologies. Requiring a strong passion for technology this role is suited for those with experience in open source maintenance and contributions who seek to grow their skills alongside some of the best engineers in the tech industry at Canonical.
