Job Description

As a Software Engineer for Multipass you will apply your deep C++ expertise on Windows and MacOS to enhance an innovative open-source developer experience that provides Ubuntu and appliance VMs on demand for build test and prototyping. You will help architect new features ensuring that Multipass is intuitive easy to use and supports developers effectively on their local cloud setup. Your responsibilities will include writing high-quality code designing the user experience and reviewing others’ work as part of Canonical’s engineering process. Collaboration with a distributed team will be key as you capture user feedback debug issues and support the open-source community. You are expected to play a leadership role in mentoring other developers while adhering to the highest standards of quality testing and design. This position is remote available only in the EMEA region and involves occasional international travel for team events allowing you to fully engage with colleagues across the globe.
