Job Description
The OpenSearch team at Canonical is dedicated to automating OpenSearch operations focusing on aspects such as fault-tolerant replication TLS and installation while providing domain-specific expertise on data systems to other teams. This role centers on the creation and automation of features of data platforms rather than analyzing the data itself. Successful candidates will engage in proactive collaboration with an internationally distributed team writing high-quality Python code to develop new features debugging issues and interacting with upstream communities. Ideal applicants should have hands-on software development experience with Python and a solid background in distributed systems. Additionally a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential.
