We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our OpenStack Engineering team focused on building Charmed OpenStack and Ceph which are critical for deploying and managing cloud environments. In this position you will work with a global team of engineers passionate about open source software and Linux. This role demands expertise in Python programming and a deep interest in automating infrastructure as code. You will contribute by writing high quality code for new features and debugging existing ones while collaborating with your team. Your contributions will help make cloud technologies accessible to a diverse array of users and infrastructures ranging from desktop setups to large server deployments. Additionally this position involves some international travel throughout the year allowing you to connect with your colleagues in person. Ideal candidates will possess a background in Computer Science or a related field along with familiarity in OpenStack technologies various Linux distros and experience in distributed systems.
