As a Data Engineer within the Customer Profitability squad of the Finance Tribe your primary responsibility will be to support the creation of a robust data foundation and reporting structure that aids decision makers in assessing customer profitability. You will be expected to run monthly data updates validations and reconciliations while investigating data quality concerns and supporting root-cause analysis. This role requires you to gather and translate business requirements into precise data mappings and validation criteria. Your ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders is crucial and you will handle both operational tasks and change initiatives simultaneously. A strong analytical mindset alongside proficiency in SQL and experience in data handling and reporting is essential. The position promotes ownership of complex topics with an aim to optimize data processes while providing support to users regarding data definitions and calculations. You will also document findings and improve controls ensuring accuracy and quality in data reporting.
