As a DevOps Engineer you will plan coordinate and implement modern IT systems along with automated software delivery processes CI/CD ensuring effective monitoring troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrences. You will consult software developers and other employees on DevOps practices and automation solutions acting as a team mentor. Your role will also involve assessing needs planning initiating and participating in the purchase of modern IT systems and DevOps tools as well as preparing and updating technical documentation and establishing organizational standards.
Job Requirements
Candidates should possess a higher education degree in information technology or a related field along with experience in DevOps or IT systems maintenance. A solid background in Windows or Linux systems administration as well as an understanding of computer networking fundamentals is necessary. Familiarity with databases like MS SQL Server or Oracle practical experience in automating processes through scripting in PowerShell Bash or Python and experience with containerization tools like Docker Kubernetes or configuration management tools like Ansible will be advantageous. Certification in ITIL Foundation Microsoft Azure and ideally AZ-400 Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert or other Associate Expert level certifications is preferred. Strong collaboration abilities in planning and executing tasks independently as well as effective problem-solving skills in uncertain situations are essential.
